The ColoCare Consortium has a Community Advisory Board (CAB).
CAB members receive background information on colorectal cancer survivorship. They are invited to provide their perspectives on the identification and prioritization of research topics and on the study’s procedures and protocols. The consortium will seek CAB advice on patient communication methods. As we are mindful of patients’ time constraints and difficult health situations, the CAB members will be able to decide on the level of their involvement. At a minimum, they will participate in the annual investigator meeting, one additional conference call per year, and respond to questions or needs that arise.
